Here, between 2,117 and 2,589 metres in altitude, the hearts of all mountain lovers beat faster in the truest sense of the word. This circular tour requires no little stamina and a good head for heights, but rewards experienced hikers with splendid views from various perspectives.

You start at Gasthof Hochmuth, which you reach by cable car. Then continue on trail 22 past Steinegg (inn) on the right to Mutkopf (inn), on trail 23 to Mutspitze peak and to Taufenscharte.
