It was built in the 12th century and gives its name to the whole country: Tyrol Castel. Here, at the seat of the South Tyrolean Provincial Museum of Cultural and Regional History, you will find works of Romanesque art, especially the marble portals, early Gothic wall paintings, a Gothic altar and the oldest Tyrolean-stained glass. In addition, it houses a care centre for bird fauna where flight demonstrations also take place regularly. A real experience for young and old!
